Uniform Items
Shirts, vests and caps have the
FRFANZ trade mark logo “Rural Fire New
Zealand” on them . In addition, shirts (polo and business) and
anoraks can be ordered with NZ RFA shoulder flashes sewn on:
. Alternatively, fire personnel can sew their rural fire authority emblems on to
bare-sleeved FRFANZ clothing, provided they have the approval of their parent
RFA, and FRFANZ is notified of this. No other emblems are acceptable. The reason
for this is that FRFANZ rural fire clothing identifies the wearer as a NZ rural
firefighter, and any unsavoury behaviour reflects poorly on all involved in
rural fire.
